Dear Nassau-Suffolk Families,

Please note the following important updates:

Monday, January 26 rehearsals are cancelled. All Nassau-Suffolk rehearsals scheduled for this day will not take place.

Mandatory Dress Rehearsals – Thursday, January 29
Dress rehearsals for the following ensembles will be held at Kellenberg High School:

• Youth Jazz Band: 5:00–6:30 PM

• Youth Band: 7:00–9:00 PM

• Honor Band: 7:00–9:00 PM

Next Concert Band Rehearsal
The next Concert Band rehearsal will be held on Monday, February 2, from 7:00–9:00 PM at Carrie Weber Middle School.

Due to the impending snow storm we have officially rescheduled our upcoming concerts. Please read the following information carefully regarding our new plan. Those of you who have already purchased tickets will be contacted by the box office to rearrange your tickets.

NEW CONCERT SCHEDULE

• 7pm at Madison Theatre at Molloy University

• Sunday, February 1, 2026
• Youth Jazz Band, Jazz Band, and Jazz Ensemble
• Noon at Madison Theatre at Molloy University

• Sunday, February 1, 2026
• LIYO String Ensemble, Youth Band, and Honor Band
• 5pm at Madison Theatre at Molloy University

The Nassau-Suffolk Alumni Band performance originally scheduled for Sunday, January 25 has been rescheduled for Sunday, May 3, 2026, at the Madison Theatre at Molloy University. Updated Alumni Band concert details, including the performance schedule and a revised rehearsal schedule, will be shared at a later date.

Sound Checks

Please read the following information carefully for updated sound check times. Students should be at the Madison Theatre a minimum of 30 minutes prior to listed sound check times to ensure a timely start to all sound checks.

Dear Alumni and Friends,
 
The Nassau-Suffolk Alumni Band will be performing on Sunday, January 25, 2026, at 3 pm at the Madison Theatre. This year's concert will include the World Premiere of a new flute concerto composed by Vincent Oppido in honor of Abby Behr. This performance will feature Dr. Pauline Jung, a former student of Abby's and current principal flutist of the Boston Civic Symphony.
 
Rehearsals will be held on Saturday, January 10and Saturday, January 24 from 1:30-3:30pm at the LIU Music Rehearsal Building.
 
Members of the Alumni Band may request up to three comp tickets on the webform below.
